okay i have been useing meguires new nxt wax what happened was i waxed. my vette and on the hood scoop it turned yellow right were it was molded to the hood. this wax is the best ever it clears up the clear coat so you see everything the hood was repainted 2yrs ago now its got a yellow tint. i was told that the yellowish tint could have always been there it's just that this new wax cleans and shines deep into the clear coat now the yellow is ONLY by the hood scoop the scoop was bonded to the hood the rest of the car is perfect.

if you can see the cauk or w/e used to bond the hood, then i doubt theres a way to take it off, the waz sunk into the bonding adhesive but if the whole hood is painted and just the scoop is yellow, try sum goofoff and see what happens, or use sum turtle wax and hand polish it. itll take it of b/c its kinda abrasive, then use a bufer and itll be word.
