I dont know if just the driver/software will do it. I tried three different USB-> serial adapters before I found one that worked. The one that worked has a little "box" in the middle of the cable, and it came from Radio Shack, with software. It was also the most expensive, at about $40. If I can find the software I will send it your way, but it may take a while- Ive got another hurricance to prepare for here in Florida.

You need to tell us which USB-->Serial adapter you're using. Most driver software is available from the mfg's website in the support section.
