I can't believe they let you change the oil at the line! Pretty nice photochop with the jack-stands too.

Nice.

No dynos of the car this year.

They had a dyno at the races I was at today. I did not get out there the weekend they had the dyno, working on dads chevelle. But today I raced with all the cars that were on on it.

Here are some of their number they put out. Dodge Dart 520 CI 490rwhp 720 ft-lbs

Chevy Nova pro-charged motor. 565rwhp-7XX ft-lbs can't remember the exact number.

Both of these guys raced me today several times, and I mopped them both up with ease. The dart hangs pretty decent till about the 1/8 mile mark and then mine pulls out about 3 cars ahead of it. Ran consistantly .3sec quicker than both these cars.

There is also 592 CI Dodge Duster. He runs damn good. Claims over 600rwhp+, and his time slips from a good strip were 9.7s@137, I stuck with him pretty decent till the 1/8 then he pulled on me and ran .4sec quicker than I was. He ran 10.5s and I ran 10.9s. (remember this is an airport that we ran at today).

But you all know what I think dyno numbers Everyone since the dyno has been telling me how much power this Nova made, and when I raced him, I think everyone was expecting it to be the nova taking the strip first and turning a better ET.

So now I REALLY have the locals guessing my HP level.

I was the 3rd fastest car there. 2 all out race cars, gutted and 500+ CI motors, plexi-glass windows, etc. To say the least I am pleased with the car

Nice launch! Todd is a heck of a photographer. A group of us went up to BSD last fall, every single one of us ended up buying the pics that Todd photographed of our cars.

What I mean is you see some cars leave the line, pulling much higher wheelies, but they have a "sloppy" look to them. These things remind me of a lion pouncing out at its prey. All business with a stealth look to them.

Maybe I am just partial or something

Maybe you need a better "tune" for more air time.............LMAO!!!

Man, the Domino's around the corner is looking for a new driver. With runs like that, they might pay you double.........until the buyers complain of their cheese being in the corner of the box.

Congrats!

Congrats!
Used to deliver pizzas in High school. Best job ever, good money for high school, and great looking chics I worked with.

Oh Yeah Jason, How is the 406 coming along? And for the record, since there were some trolls on here before stating that my motor I sold you was broke, can you verify for me the condition of it.

Keep in touch with how your buddy is making out with it.

Yup, after we got the best time yet with this set up(11.6 running very lean) Rich pulled into the pits to find that the balancer was thrown of the motor and all the pulleys were bent from the contact. Apparently the crank is now bent and this is why we have been having consistant problems with broken belts, brackets etc. I dont know if we're going to strip it and rebuild from scratch or just do a new crank and rebalance what we have. Not that it matters now but was that crank ever resurfaced?
BTW, did you have any problem with the cam/stroke clearance on your new setup?
thanks
Jason
