Default I have an intake idea

Hello, I am thinking of taking maybe a Edelbrock performer or their air gap manifold and making the fuel intector bungs etc so I can still use my fuel rails and injectors and then taking an L98 plenum and weld up the sides were the runners used to exit and cutting a hole on the bottom and mating it to the Edelbrock intake. What else would need to be done for this to work? Or would just be a waste of time?(and money)

Pay very close attention to the t-stat housing location... You will run into a brick wall there, unless you plan on either relocating it or building a t-stat housing. I had to deal with this on the single planes I built for the C4's, and they're considerably taller than a dual plane.

Don't forget a throttle body. You could save yourself a lot of custom machining and possible mistakes by buying one that Edelbrock has already done for you. They DO catalog them (the bare manifold with the injector bungs). For even better results, jburnett has been doing these for a while and has the bugs worked out of them.

RACE ON!!!
