Default Can I do this with my 93?

I would like to set up a laptop in the car and hook it up to the car to see what the car is doing when it's beeing driven. What would I need to get to do this? I would also like to do my own tunning once I know what's going on in there. So also what would I need to get to burn my own chips?

http://moates.net/

There is also www.odb2.com

What you will need is a cable and software that will do just that. EASE (odb2.com) is what I have and it does work. You can record data as you drive and review it later.

I do not know what all Craig offers...

You can use whatever data logging software you like and a cable to go with it. Lots of people like Data Master and you can use it 20 times for free. You will also need a programmer such as the Pocket Programmer 2. I recommend you go with an eeprom such as the Atmel 29c256 so that you do not need a UV light to erase the eprom. You will also need software to be able to change parameters of the chip. I use Tuner Cat, and then you will need the appropriate definition file for your car. With Tuner Cat it would be a DA2. Tuner cat now offers a real time tuner and I believe that Moates does as well. I almost forgot, you also need an adapter for your memcal and new chip. Moates definately has those as well. It's not as difficult as it may sound, it just takes some time to get set up. I recommend scanning your car and going over the data for awhile before jumping right into burning. Then start small such as different temps for the fans to come on. Good luck!!!!!
