radiator question

Default radiator question

i'm trying to remove my radiator in my 91 TPI and was just wandering how the hell i get the lower radiator hose off the engine block without removing the pullys. i was also wandering do i need to get under the car to remove it or pull it on ramps. HOW big of a project am i getting into!

When i was brand new to corvettes, just last oct., the first thing I mechanically did was remove and clean the radiator. I have a '90, it was pretty easy. I did go from underneath, I think. It was pretty easy to pull the hose off after you loosen the clamp. Make sure you drain off the coolant first, you dont wanna wear all that garbage. There is a detailed method in the tips section of this forum. Let me know if you need more help.

It's a messy job... be prepared for that, but as far as getting the radiator in and out you shouldn't have much of a problem...
