Where's the best least cost source to buy a replacement hood support (gas charged) for my '96? Thanks in advance for your help. Bill

I would holler at Chris at Superior Chevrolet's parts department

Superior Chevrolet

Phone 800-509-2881
Fax 913-789-3007

Be sure and mention the Corvette Forum for your special discount.

I ordered a replacement hood strut from Jason @ Sam Taylor. They have a reasonable price discount structure like Superior. Here is a link to his information:

Thanks to both of you. I ordered from Superior 1st thing this AM. GREAT PRICE and they had it in stock. Should get it in a few days. Local dealer wanted about $80 with tax for it. I saved about $20.
