fuming over A/C
took my car in for NY inspection. passed without problems.
now the A/C don't work !!!
worked fine before going in.
the compressor clutch cycles on for 5 seconds, then kicks out.
I don't know what these morons could have done.
if they let freon out, I know it would cycle, but would they let freon out into the air ?? I feel like going back there and ripping them a new black hole, but I know that won't get me no where.
then my right brain says just go somewhere else and eat the expense.
I don't know what to do know... the only time my C4 goes into someone elses hands is for NY inspection, and this is what I get.

it's a full repair shop that also does NY state inspections. Do they need to steal freon ?? I doubt it.
Did he bleed my system down, maybe.
He know's I'm a hard-core DIY'er.
but that means he also knows I can't get freon.
I'm still not decided on what to do.

I went back to "talk" to him.
The verdit is it needs freon. somehow the freon is MIA. after 4 years of owning the car, now all the sudden I have a freon "leak".
he'll refill the freon, but of course charge me..

Haha prolly the same r12 he took out 
I went over to Arizona to buy a ferret with my GF and while there, pick up some Freeze12 (both are illegal in CA).. apperantly the only way you can get it now is with an AC repair license... Anyone want to buy me a couple of cans and mail them over?

1996 has the new freon, not the old R12.
anyway, I went back, and were BOTH looking at it tomorrow. He says it "must" have a leak. so we'll see what happens.
all I know is BLK on BLK requires A/C until NOV !!!
