another clutch question
Recently got my 89 back on the road after building a new 383 and installing a new heavy duty "brass button clutch". anyway car runs strong although hasn't been chipped yet, but at idle there is a slight clanking/ knocking noise coming from the clutch/transmission area. when in gear it goes away, also no vibrations at high rpm so it doesn't seem to be hurting anything. could this be that the new clutch plate does not have the springs in it like the stock clutch plate or is something wrong/loose when installed. Don't know too much about clutches so any feedback is welcomed.

first, 89's had the dual mass flywheel. it was designed to eliminate some of the noises common to the ZF6spd.
