Default HELP on front suspension

OK, the 4-6 hour lowering job on the car has turned into a 12+ hour job over the past few days! It was no problem getting the suspension apart until the spring removal. I can NOT get it to budge out of the lower A plate. The spring is totally disconnected from the car and will move roughly 5mm in the plate up and down. The problem is the point where the sway bar link is mounting to the lower plate it is in the way by about 2mm. My question is how in the heck do I get this spring out!

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Daniel

I'm pretty sure you have to remove one of the lower a-frames. At least remove it from the k-member and swing it out of the way. Once clear on one side, they other will not be a problem as it will come out the side that is free. That's how I did it, perhaps there's a better way that I don't know about ? ?
