Default ? Concerning Chip Burning

Im still wet behind the ears when it comes to chip burning.... I guess my question for you "pro's" is, Is there any performance gains I could/would/will expect to see if I am able to find someone to burn me one? I have some minor & major mods. Bored +60over, Forged alm pistons, Comp Cam(specs avail if needed), 24lbs injectors w/adj fuel pressure regulator, K&N, Gutted Cat(dont tell anyone ), Muffler elms, SLP long tube headers.

It depends on your mods, looks like you probably have a little to gain. Even a stock engine *could* gain a little. What are those cam specs? Those 24 lb injectors can probably be tuned with fuel pressure, but would be more correct if adjusted in the chip. I am new to burning/tuning EFI, but if you want to alter your own bin file and send it to me I can burn it for you. Get Tunerpro or Tunercat, and download a stock bin for an 86 and start from there. You will need an adapter to use a different chip, or you wil need to remove your stock eprom from your memcal- but this is not easy, and you may damage the memcal doing it. At least get a ZIF socket so if you remove the stock eprom from the memcal you only have to do it once to change chips over and over again. I have some blanks, let me know.
