Default new motor help

i have 91 coupe with 103k miles. i am getting the gm crate motor (350 HO-330hp/375tq) they say i need a intake manifold, distributor, flywheel, torsiunal damper, water pump, exhaust manifold or headers, all new hoses. do i need all of this? and if so any suggestions on the different parts. i have to have a dealership do the work (no good shops) so are they triing to take me or what? $2400 motor/1600 labor plus extras. thanks

Well those would be all the things you need to complete that crate engine, but you could certainly re-use some of your existing stuff.

Whats wrong with yours ?

Lets take it from there, there are a lot of alternatives but tell us first why you're going this route.
