96 Exhaust comparo
Hi all,
I just have a few kwik questions about the stock 96 exhaust. I have stated in a few threads that my stock exhaust seems to have mandrel bent pipes from the factory... and I'd like to know if that is true.
and is the exhaust for the LT4 the same as the LT1, or are the pipes larger?
I'd hate to keep spreading the same line between threads and continually be wrong. Any help is appreciated.
The LT1 and LT4 pipes are the same size dimensionally. However, I believe that LT4's were supposed to have a crossover pipe after the resonator. I have personally seen stock LT4's without any crossover, however, and those cars were supposedly 100% stock. Perhaps a mix-up at Bowling Green...
