Here is what I did a few years ago, and I need to do again. This also helped with the 'morning sickness' these cars seem to get with their power steering.
I wanted to change to Red Line Synthetic Power Steering fluid since I was starting to do some racing. I used all Red Line to 'flush' the old out, but if I did it again, I'd use Napa for the flush and then pour in the Red Line. Using all Red Line probably cost me about $15-$20 extra. Live and learn. You're looking at maybe $10-$20 total for the cost of the fluid if it is all Napa fluid. Red Line comes in at about $8/qt and Napa is about $8/2-gallons.
This is a 2-person job. Cut about a 2-3' piece of garden hose to use for a drain line. Disconnect the return line to the power steering pump and put into the hose. Put the other end of the hose into something that can handle caustic fluid (do not let it hit the paint!). Open the cap to the ps reservoir and put in a small funnel. Have a buddy start the car and you stand by with the Napa (or some other brand) fluid. They sell a 2 gallon container,I believe. Slowly pour the fluid in and after a little bit (30 seconds to a minute) have your buddy start to turn the wheel side to side. Have him continue to do this from stop to stop. Monitor the fluid coming out of the hose. Once it starts to look like what is going in, you've flushed all the old out. This could be up to 3-5 minutes, or as little as 2. If you want to use Red Line, start adding that at this point. When it comes out looking all Red, you've finished. Turn the car off and reconnect your return line.
Do not let the reservoir go empty as then you will have air in your lines. If you have to, stop the engine and that will stop the pump.
Total time, including purchases, about 1 hour tops.
I used the 2-gallon container for the old fluid to take to a recycling center.
I used a turkey baster to suck reservior dry, fillied it with Valvoline Syth PS fluid, waited for the fluid to circulate, did it again and again until the quart of ValvoSyth was gone. Three months later I did it again, was still clean.

I change mine every year and I use the old "battery fluid" rubber squese ball, others use a turkey baster.
I add a piece of plastic tubing to get it down to the bottmo of the reservoir...suck out the fluid, fill the reservoir, start engine...turn wheels a few times and repeat the process. after about four or five repetitions you will have the old stuff out and the new stuff in.
