It works better with the other stuff I added, but it alone gave me at least 15-20 hp standing still! I say that because I had it dynoed to see the difference. The real gain in HP is @ 15-20 MPH and up!
I bought one and I wouldn't buy another. I am eventually going to sell mine and buy another type of cold air system. I think Raysur has the type that I am going to get. The Vortex doesn't fit well (on my car) and the plastic looks cheap. Even the 'fix' for the flimsy duct looks cheap. Once again, this is merely my opinion about the product. Some folks like it and some don't. If it were $150 or $125, I would expect the materials/quality I got.

That's funny, I got my did a dyno run with and with out and lost about 5 hp. Also did a track test and slowed a bit. But it could just be my car.
