Paxton would be the last one I would call. Were I going Centrifugal, ATI would be the call.

I haven't heard anything about Paxton but I have heard that ATI has bad customer service. A lot of people recommend vortech.

BlownVett - What does that run in the quarter ? How much HP ? 83# injectors ?

BlownVette,
Sounds like a nice setup. Wanna give us a rundown?
As far as ATI goes, The base 600x unit is worthless. Every person I know with one has had to send it off to have it rebuilt (some a few times) within a year!!! The do not make near the boost that they claim they do. a 9# kit might get you about 2-3#.
As far as the D-1 series, I do not know nor have much experience with these, so I will not comment.
If you do a search on here as well as Yahoo for ATI, you will find a few horror stories about these units.

2FST4U speaks the truth. I can't get more than 3 lbs (on a good day) from my ATI. I suppose I have been real lucky and not had to rebuild the 600 in the three years I have had it installed.

ATI has earned their bad reputation.

Paxton is suppose to be owned by Vortech now. Can't say I have heard any bad vibes about Vortech units.

Go with a Vortech S trim unit. Its probably one of the best all around street blowers available.

I used to own a paxton and it was ok. But require alot more care and attention to stay that way. I sold it to a guy and he had to get it rebuilt shortly thereafter.

For what its worth...

I had a Paxton on my Iroc and it gave me 5 psi, good enough to run 12.2's all day long. Mine was the SN series.

I think they have changed ownership since I purchased from them.
