Hey everyone,
I know there are some of you who were waiting for me to install my front sensa tracs, which i have done. It took me about an hour to do the front. It was MUCH easier than the back and i didnt even have to take the wheel off. Anyway....It rides soooooo much better!!! OMG, i just cant describe it. No more hard hits, no more butt comming off the seat. I am satisfied. I cant really say anything about the handling yet becuase i havent tested it out fully, due to the rain. I can tell that the steering isnt quite as responsive, but i think that its worth it for my daily driver. Bottom line: If you have an early C4 and want better ride for minimal cash, Monroe's are a good choice IMO. L8r guys.

Thanks for the update, Gid. I figured that bouncing would stop once you got the front shocks on.

Remember, Drive it like you stole it.

I am noticing that I am bottoming out quite frequently and am likely in need of a shock replacement. Did you get your Monroes locally or through one of the Vette catalogs? I can't remember seeing Monroes in Ecklers or Mid America. What should I expect to pay for a set? Thanks!

Gid, I never noticed before...you removed your 3rd brakelight (above the hatch)...any particular reason?

BWar,
I purchased my monroes from a local O'Reilly auto parts. They were $20 a piece. Either Eckler's or Corvette Central sells them also.

Daves_88,
I didnt remove it. 84's and early 85's didnt have a 3rd brakelight. I kinda think it looks better that way. [img]http]//www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/wink.gif[/img]
