Which hood and light combo will work
Ok I think I just bought a project car (still waiting on title to exchange money). I know it is going to need a hood and lights. What hood and lights will fit a '90 model? I know any hood from 85-96 will bolt on and close, but the lights/motors/wiring are different from some years I think. And if I get say a hood off an 85 and lights from say a 90, will they bolt on. Also is the hood prop mounting location the same cause I know somewhere about '88 they went from scissor type to strut. Thanks.

Can someone atleast tell me what the headlight "upgrade" for the 84-87 C4s does.

for your '90' the absolute best would be a 90 or newer. the head light upgrade eliminates the problematic headlight motors/relays of the earlier years. The lights will interchange with any C4 except an 84 , and thats doable but not worth the time. The 84 hood wont work on any other C4w/out the same issues.....howzat for finding an ancient post?
