The things the dealer gives you suck, they get lost in those little holes!!! What is a good idea to get the hood logo on securely?

Right now I am using black electrical tape wrapped around the posts and holding it by friction.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Rich

Well, I also hated (and lost) the little self-tapping push nut things. What I did was find some tubing that fit real snugly onto the posts. Have someone push on the emblem from the outside of the hood as you twist the tubing onto each posts. Works great so far, hasn't come loose one bit.

Next time try putting a dap of silicone on your socket and putting that plastic nut thing in there. It won't fall off and get lost in the hood. Worked pretty well for me.

Put a piece of electrical tape or duct tape across the opening of the socket then push the nut in. The tape will hold the nut secureley till its started.
