When putting back on the fuel injector cover on the passenger side I struck the #6 fuel injector and pushed it into the hole about a half inch and now it doesn't work (can't feel it moving like the others). How can I safely remove it and put it back in to it normal position? I assume I need to depressurize the fuel system first. I hope I didn't hurt the engine by driving with 7 cylinders. Thanks for your help.

Not sure I understand, but sounds like the injector has slid farther down into the intake then normal. Not sure how this is possible. The injector actually sits inside an upper and lower o-ring. I would squirt some oil on the o-rings and then rotate the injectors back and forth slowly while trying to work it back up into position. If that doesn't work, looks like some disassembly will be in order.

There are a couple of c - shaped retainers on the injector. Check to see if they are still there!!!!
