Default Performance shop In Suffolk

Hi;
I'm new to this forum. A NEWBIE with vette's, but I have tuned other cars in the past. My question is: can anyone recommend a good, perfomance mechanic to install headers, shift improver kit, Vortex, and a hypertech chip in a 91 Coupe. The mechanic that I'm dealing with has a ton of work, and the last time I went to inquire as to when he could do the work, he became a tad abusive. Thus, the reason for this post. My goal is to gradually mod the car to about 300-324 RWHP.

Thanks,
Joe B.

Bought some things from Ed, a friend uses them for work as well.

Also in the area are the Vette Doctors. Look for their link on this site under tuners.

Hey,

I have dealt with Not Just Vettes also. I never had them work on my car-just bought parts from them. Heck he owes me 1 shock! Ed is a nice person to deal with.

I would highy recommend Lizzard Racing in N. Babylon on Wyandanch Ave. This shop does everthing hi performance. The owner's name is Mat. While I do 99% of the work on my 1992 myself, I had them do polly bushings and a Hurst shifter. The car came back perfect.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the replys. I have been on the balcony observing this website for about a month, which is how long I've had the 91 Coupe, and I really respect the way the senior members respond to newbies. I have been a memeber of other sites that I'm ashamed to mention, but if a newbie asked anything remotely redundant, he would be flamed so badly, well I could go on.

Again, thanks for the feed back.
