Default I Passed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, more accurately, my Vette passed CA smog!

I left the paper out in the car, but except for NOX, I passed with room to spare.

The real crap shoot nature of CA tests is this: Unless you hook up with the states central computer, they can't compare the numbers to the make/model/year!!!!

You can get numbers, but they have no bearing unless compared to other cars of the same vintage!!!!

But, my car is one more step closer to being legal!

I think it's 2.

but the engine will be rebuilt by then, so all should be tidy.

I think I know why the NOX are high, the tube that pulls the gasses from the exhaust into the intake, has a crack in it.

I have the new tube, but I donno how I am gonna replace it.

Sounds like it is a real pain to get legal in California. Congratulations!! It's always cheaper to pass and now the $ can go for more important things like Cheers

How true!

However, passing isn't that hard... my tough part was the LTCC, the tech didn't seem to notice it.

The numbers were clean as a whistle!

Too hot. The coils are obvious, too. I am going to move the module inside the cabin. That's what I am gonna do when I rebuild the engine.

Then, all they will see is coils, and your average tech might think they are stock. Besides, I am going to make a cool engine cover, ala LS1, to hide them, too!!! I ain't stupid!!!!
