Default Headers For '94 Lt1??

What HEADERS do the FORUM members who own '94 LT1 - 6 Speeds run? IT has been suggested on some CITES that only the so called "SHORTIES" will fit the '94 with a 6 Speed Trans. WHAT HEADERS ARE YOU RUNNING?
Thanks In Advance.

TPIS longtubes Are what I have, others use the Exotic Muscle or Hooker 2151's, or 2149's( I think that the right number for the coated ones) Or you can go with shorties. However Long Tubes are the way to go!

On my 96 (6spd) I have EM Longtube Headers into RT cats into a Corsa. You can run LTs all the same - the other sites are incorrect.

I have a set of Stainless works LTs ready to go in with my 383.

I think I saw a GP on Exotic Muscels LT headers for the LT1 corvette on here and they would be a great choice as well.

This is the case if you need to stay emissions legal - to the best of my knowledge the only thing you can put on is shorties! If you're not concerned with emissions you have a lot of options. I went with Hooker 2151 long tube headers and had them ceramic coated inside and out by Jet Hot. Love them!

This would depend on what you have to do to pass emissions. I've been told several times they don't even check for cats (TX) because if you don't have them you WON'T pass. So in my case, if you have LT's and cats and pass they'll let you buy. LEGALLY though they can fail you because you're NOT SUPPOSE to move the location of the cat and if you put on LT's you're going to be forced to move the cat back further than it's stock location.
