I think I've read that the switch is the same as on my 4+3. I got mine off with a 7/8 socket that had to be turned on a lathe for a hex peak to OD dimension of .015 inch. Use a 4 jaw chuck and center the socket on the hex flats not the OD. Everything else I tried wouldn't budge the switch.
I just did mine. I broke the plastic off the bad switch so I could put a short 7/8 socket on it to get it out. Then I just used on open end wrench to put the new one in snug.
