Default Idle Problem...sticks..but only when running...HELP

I have a strange idle problem.

I have done 65Z01's idle IAC reset procedure and all is good here.

Idle was reset and is currently at 650-700 rpms.

Now the weird part: if I rev it up to 2,3,4, or 5,000 rpms no problem...but if I just go up to idle-1000 rpms upon returning it sticks at 1000 and I have to blip the throttle to have it come back down. I know this sounds like a sticking throttlebody...but this problem only happens while the car is running...if I turn it off and move the throttlebody plates up and down....no stick. I have already taken the throttlebody off 3 times and thoroughly cleaned the whole thing with TB cleaner and lubed the spring with WD-40.

Is it just the air going through pressurizing that is causing the tb to stick?....like I said its fine when the car is off...but once you turn it on..the throttle and plates seem to stick and not move as freely. I also checked out the TPS sensor and even changed it out (had an extra) problem the same.

need some help

There was a multi-paged discussion on here a month or two ago about the same problem. Long story short, HIS problem was worn holes in the TB that the throttle shaft passes through. It seems the air flow of the running engine, pushing on the butterfly, creates enough pressure on the throttle shaft to bind it up. With the engine off, it flops freely, just like it is supposed to. You can try lubing the shaft where it fits through the bores, but that is likely to be a short term solution, at best. The TB can be bushed and shaft fitted,or replaced with a new TB. Check it out.

RACE ON!!!
