Hey guys I just installed a old style ford head light dimmer switch on the floor of the 94' I can now turn my fans off and on by taping my foot on the floor!!! it works great!!! I can now leave my fans on untill after my burnout.

Cool...how about a little description how you hooked it up and etc.?
Did you drill through the floor to secure it?Etc..

Well its pretty simple really, It had two leads black and red and two mounting holes. using the switch as a template I drilled the holes and used 5/16 bolts to secure it. I then spliced the wires into the wiring harness that I got from Corvette Central for the fan bypass. I figure you could use it for lots of things like nitrous arming, fans,an altnator cutout .....ect. Hell I may just install 35 or 40 of them and then I could hook the laptop up and type on the forum while I drive

Sounds great!!! Thats another reason I love the forum...once in a while, someone here(like you did) comes up with some really simple, but ingenious Ideas.
