very good article for performance upgrades on all c4 vettes including the xfire. with list of parts needed. when at the site cli**** on c4 tpi up grades. good article! advice on up to 100hp gains!

when looking at these pics. can some one tell me if in the 2nd pic if this a upgrade for xfire to tpi system?

It was a good article, but if 100 HP is gonna cost 4,500.00, if you do it yourself, I'd probably opt for a crate motor. With all of the changes made to that motor, intake, heads, rods, pistons, crank, etc., I would have expected much more. The 5.8 sec (manualy timed) 0-60 didn't thrill me. My 91 is already faster than that. I guess this article was geared more for the 85-89 cars.

That's a pic of Lingenfelter's Super Ram intake. Those are TPI upgrade parts.
If they can only get 5.8 sec 0-60 from a 100hp gain they need to get a new driver!
BTW, I suspect my '88 is now quicker than that too.
