car sputters

i have a 85 and when i hit the gas the car wants to die (it sputters)and it feels like it is out of gas

Clean the TB with some TB cleaner.

Check that the TPS voltage is smoothly increasing with no jumps from idle through WOT position.

Verify that base timing is set to spec of 6deg BTDC.

i have a new tb bbk 52mm but it still spputerd with the old one

My egr is bad and it has one killer Vacuum leak
