Long time ago, I switched to synthetic, and noticed the car was using oil.. Maybe a quart every 800-1000 miles. I switched back to dino.. it used even more. I went 5k miles between oil changes... mostly because i added new oil all the time (yes i know thats bad) and then the last oil change, 1500 miles ago, I switched back to synthetic.

It hasn't been low on oil since, and I haven't added any.

Isn't that weird?

If it were BRITISH, the only way it would stop leaking or using oil is if it were out of oil!

Seriously' I have experienced the same ephenomnon on 305's

No explanation

It might be time to add oil.

Have you gone to a better gas by any chance?

With your luck it's probably pieces of bearings clogging all the leaks....

Reminds me of a movie I saw where this guy's neighbor was fanatical about monitoring his gas mileage. The guy and his son first added a few extra gallons in each night so the neighbor would think he was getting phenomenal mileage. Then, they abruptly changed tactics and started siphoning gas OUT each night . The neighbor didn't know what was going wrong with his car!

Watch your neighbors!
