I want to put the Y2k 18X9.5 rims on all four corners. Can I do this without spacers? If not are the spacers safe to use? And what tire sizes will work? I would have posted this in the wheels and tire section but I need a respponse....money is burning a hole in my pocket!!!

I've flirted with changing my wheels, but my wheels are pretty rare, and they look good to boot. So they stay

You can get C4 suspension info (including backspacing) from a chart at www.y-body.org. Repro wheels at www.oemconcepts.com will give C5 wheel info. After that, the math isn't hard.

Ok Darkman... Look below and you will see that they fit. They fit without spacers on my car, without hitting in the rear or the front from full tilt to full tilt.
I did end up having spacers machined as I didn't like the tracking that the car did with the wheels setting in 1" further than stock. The spacers are made from 6063 Aluminum for strength and lightness, with DRM long racind studs installed in them. Testing the strength of the spacer setup was important, as I do race, and wanted to be sure that the spacers would not hinder me, or break under load. I can tell you that these spacers (Basically the same as the ones offered by HR Springs) will hold up as well as with the wheel connected directly to the original studs.
Need any other info, don't be afraid to hit the email button.
