Fan switch help

Just read a post on installing a fan switch, but having only basic knowledge of electric, did'nt understand it. I'd like to install a switch on my 88 to override the aux fan switch, I don't want to disable it, just be able to override it when I want to. Anyone help me out here, keep it simple as you can, thanks for any help.

If you just want to turn On the aux fan sw, you can splice into the Grn/Wh wire from the aux fan sw. Run one wire from this Grn/Wh wire to your manual sw and run another wire from the manual fan sw to ground. Since you are splicing into not cutting the aux fan sw wire it will function as stock when the sw is closed.
Get the splice and spade connectors, wire and SPST switch at Radio Shack. Also get some Blk spiral wrap to dress the wires for a professional job.
