Hello All,
I was the one installing the Meziere Electric water pump. Don't have the manuals yet so I need some ideas on finding a good source please. I will use this source to power the relay for the pump circuit.

How tough is it to reach the backside of the fuse block (this is just my curiosity, I want the under hood source for this project)

Nathan, I live on the coast so I need to avoid the cut/splice pieces if I can for corrosion control..... But I will use your circuit that you so kindly diagramed for me!
(diagram in 2nd link)

Dave

I can't tell you exactly which wire it is, but pull out your fuse/relay panel (underhood) - it is held on by retaining clips at the base - if you look you will see them - just push them in. Get a DVM and check for 12V while in "run-ON" and then check which ones go to 0V when in ACC or off. That's the one you want to use. Just hook it up to a relay as the signal and you are golden.

I installed a daylight running light kit a couple of weeks ago. The module got the power for knowing when the ignition was on from one of the fan relays on the driver's side of the radiator. I think the wire ws pink but don't remember for sure.

If you can actually get the right type of wire tap then it won't cause any trouble, because the tap is actually sealed inside a piece of plastic. Did I ever send you the pics of my finished wiring?

Never mind, I see now that I did send you a finished pic. Here is the actual tap highlighted, it's fairly weatherproof because it is very small and is sealed with plastic. I think it is correct what another member said, in that it is the pink wire. You can't tell in this pic because the flash washed out all the color.

Nathan,
I may end up going that route. Running out of time to find a different source anyway.

Probably start the re-assembly Monday. Very busy so the Vette just sits all torn apart. I really hate that.

Thanks,
Dave

Understand that, it was about the worst week and a half when I didn't have my Vette. I'm looking at my mods for next summer. My options thus far:

1. dual friction or street twin clutch.
2. upgraded braking system, I like this setup
3. corsa exhaust
4. new tires (kuhmo's)
5. 52mm throttle body
6. headers (shorties look good and can maintain emmssions, but longtubes are so much cooler)

What would you do?

The brakes would be a cosmetic only upgrade for me - I have the 13" fronts stock. I do want the blask GS calipers someday.

The corsa or the brakes should be 1-2. And if you are like me, you make it go faster before worrying about stopping!
