Well the easiest way is this. You have an automatic. Z51 was restricted to manual coupes in 1987. You "might" have Z52. [img]http]//www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/smile.gif[/img]
ezeneli, I have an 87 Z-52 automatic. The only way to be sure as to what you have
[ Z-51, Z-52 or basic suspension coupe] is with your build sheet or window sticker which shows the RPO code Z-52.
My steering wheel turns exactly 2 turns as the Z-51.It also has several of the other Z-51 options as well.
Scorp is right as to the 87s and the manual transmission.
Order the build sheet and window sticker for your Vette from the Corvette Museum. Good luck
Look on the bottom of your center console lid. As long as this piece has never been replaced, there should be a sticker with all of your RPO codes on it. See if Z52 is on there.
