Ok, I have found a set of 1.6 rockers from an LT4 with 200 miles on them, will they work with my LT1? Comes with the rockers, studs, and nuts. They are the non-adjustable LT4 rockers with 10mm holes for the studs. The stock LT-1 heads are 3/8th's, aren't they? That's VERY slightly off....

The 10mm and 3/8th" part is only referring to the part that sticks out, not where it screws into the head. You should be just fine with the rockers and studs.
Good luck,

You can get away with the stock springs, but it is always advisable to get new ones if the stock ones have a low of miles. Comp Cams makes a good set for a decent price.

My concern was, can he run roller rockers with everything else stock LT-1. I was under the impression if you ran roller rockers you had to have specific parts that went with them. What do I know? Can anyone specifically answer this?

You can run roller rockers with everything else stock, just make sure they clear the springs. you also have to remove the drip tabs from the bottom of the valve covers to clear the rockers. If you get the non self align ones you will also need guide plates. as long as your're running the stock cam you dont have to change springs unless you go to the 1.6 ratio or, of course, they have alot of miles and are weak.

I replaced the stock rockers on my Impala with the GMPP adjustable rockers. I used the stock push rods, lifters and valves. The only things I replaced were the rockers and the springs, I even used the stock retainers. BTW, if I was doing 1.6 rockers with a stock LT1 vette cam, I'd look for some LT4 springs. Plenty of chances to purchase them cheap here on the forum, I got a brand new set for $75 (actully, it was $150 for a set of new LT4 springs and a used LT1 intake manifold).

My bad... Steel Stamped rockers... but are the cam and lifters rocker??? Anyone know? I found a site that says the lifters are roller, so that means the cam has to be roller.
