I'm looking at my mods for next summer. My options thus far:

1. dual friction or street twin clutch.
2. upgraded braking system, I like this setup
3. corsa exhaust
4. new tires (kuhmo's)
5. 52mm throttle body
6. headers (shorties look good and can maintain emmssions, but longtubes are so much cooler)

What would you do? Remeber that I'm on a limited budget. Basically I should be able to do like one of the more expensive ones (like the corsa) maybe two of the cheaper ones.

Go with the Corsas. Exhaust upgrades are performance and 'feel good' upgrades.

Corsa is next on my list.

Actually, I might have decided to go with Long tube headers from Doug Rippie motorsports. Their headers bolt directly back to the stock cat-back, which means that it'll bolt to anybody else's cat-back without having to do any welding. It'll sound really good taking the cats out of the stock system, it'll sound even better with that corsa I'm gonna do later.

Eventually (read like 10 years from now) I'm gonna put a vortech supercharger on it. I'm thinking about getting the autometer guage pods with an electric fuel pressure gauge and an air/fuel guage for now, later I can just swap the air/fuel for boost. That will also give me a perfectly good spot to hide the wiring for the radar dector I'm gonna get and mount in the upper left corner of the windshield, (a little less obvious than the typical Cavalier that puts it dead center of the windshield)

skip the shorties, stock LT1 manifolds are fine.

Skip the Corsa, and go with the eliminators.

Brakes, try Performance Friction pads on the stock rotors first, if you do any track days, get some cooling ducts. also change your fluid to high temp fluid.

If I go headers, they will be long tubes. I'm not going with eliminators. If I wanted my vette to sound like Jethro's pickup truck, I would have purchased said truck and driven it around town. On the cat back it will be Corsa or none, no eliminators, they just don't sound good to me.
