I don't know those valves but are they: SS, swirl-polished, necked and have beveled back edges? These aid flow, especially as the valve starts to open and take a little off the weight (ref: Lingenfelter's book on SBCs).

Yes they are the necked down version to aid flow, I was hoping to get some info from someone that has used them for some time and get a report on their longevity. Do you think it would be a good idea to use them on the exhaust side also, I was only planning to use them on the intakes. They cost $9.00 each and I am on a strict budget.

Lingenfelter mentions that as the price goes up so goes durability and longevity. He also mentions that he uses a 2.00"/1.56" set of SS valves in Corvette Al engines that are very durable and competatively priced. He also uses Manley and Ferrea necked SS valves for the 2.02/1.60 setups.
I'm just fininshing up a springs and rockers driveway project; haven't gotten to heads and valves yet.
