Altec Sill Covers

I would like to buy the chrome Altec Sill Covers in the Mid America catalog, but are they a good value? It says it attaches using double-sided tape, but will this mess up my carpet I'm trying to protect? I would rather get some that screw in.

Wow...$149 for the chrome ones! The black powder-coated ones for $89 seems more reasonable priced. Thanks.

I bought the Altecs for my 90 from Mid America. You only get one set of screws for the rear but there is a screw hole in front of the cover, it is covered by a small rubber nub, What I do not like is there is a notch in the side of the driver side cover, that they told was for clearance on other years. You do not see it in any of there ads. I kept them but it bugs me, most people do not notice it as it is on the inside.
