Whats the easiest way to pop out the C5 plastic inserts before putting the screens in? Also, is there a particular type of paint that would be good for painting over the (butt ugly) black plastic (abs?) trim around the edge of the wire mesh to match the body color of my car? Thanks for any advice.

The screens don't fit right on my car so I gave up .
