Need advice on synthetic oil to use

After reading many favorable posts on this forum I put mobile 1 10/30 in my 87 with 72,000 miles on it. I change it every 3K miles and have had no problems with using or leaking oil. I feel better with the syn in the extreme heat we drive in. regards, Jim

Use whatever weight oil your owner's manual recommends. With Mobil 1, there is no benefit to using a heavier weight oil. I'm at 95K with mine and I use the recommended 5W 30.
