Normally I have some trouble getting good traction from my L98, but sat night an amazing thing happened.
I was at some lights showing off and gave the gas a 3/4 stab, normally this would light up the rears... However on this occasion the car hooked without a trace of spin , we got great weight transfer and we were gone.
@ about 4000 in 1st the engine cut until I came of the gas and then went fine (the car has been running beautifully lately).
I assume this was caused by fuel starvation as I had less than 1/4 of a tank , is this a common problem ? is this why our drag stars suggest 1/2 a tank or do I need to start worrying !

As always thanks for the help

If I have less than a 1/4 tank of gas, the fuel pump picks up air and the car bogs after a few seconds.
