Default Programming problem
I purchased a Hypertech programmer to program my '94, and when I hooked it up to program, I am getting "VIN Mismatch". According to the manual, this indicates the stock program is not on the car. I have owned the car for about 3 years, and I guess it was changed from the stock prgm before then. Is this something I have to take to the dealer and have it reloaded? Or are there other options?

If you call hypertech the hot line should be able to tell you what is wrong.
The programer may be faulty.
