Default clutch issues

hey guys, i read a tread earlier about replacing the clutch master cylinder, clutch lines, and slave cylinder. my car has a ripper shifter and it shifts solid, but sometimes its hard to get into gear. if it's hard to get in gear, i just hold pressure on it and slowly let the clutch out. and then it'll pop right into gear. if i'm hammering on it like racing it'll work fine. so my question is should i replace those things or what? i dont wanna mess up my tranny at all. so please give me some info guys. thanks

gee... I am not sure what exactly to recommend here.

It sounds like the fork may be bent... I would make sure the entire clutch linkage is ok.

Is the tranny fluid fresh?

yes the tranny fluid is fresh. but how exactly would i know if the hydralics are bad? and why would the fork be bent? never even been in the clutch before. is this something that happens from normal use.

the hydraulics just give up. You will see signs of brake fluid around the slave, and perhaps leakage everywhere else!

A bent fork? eh, you will have to take it all apart first.

How many miles are on the clutch?

well the car does have some kinda leak. i cant find the oil leak so maybe that's it. the clutch is stock and car has 60k miles on it. the hydralics going bad is the whole reason i'm considering getting the new stuff. is it a hard job to RR those?
