not really but last night driving out to charlestown wva to pull some slots the car threw the check engine light on when i fueled up. car was still running good, as i could tell. got out there reset the computer and all seemed fine. it did to seem to idle real rough and once i cleared the codes it seem to smooth out some but it's noticable in the seat and always have been for awhile now that i think back.
so all was good for over 130 miles then tonight it came on again at start up after dinner with my brother. idle was back to being rough but still ran pretty good, as i can tell.
will check the codes soon as i can.
starting to think 02 sensor, (put new one on back in febuary with the header swap.) MAF unit, and or IAC. also still thinking the cold start injector *might* be hanging open cause on start up all i smell is fuel and even after it warms up i smell fuel especially when i'm in back of the car.
i can tell already this is gonna drive me bonkers!
Ahh,,, what do you have ???? onsome a gas cap Off will throw a code...
need more info,,, someone will Chime in
thanks but read this post for more info on what the car's been doing. although this isn't really a post about what i need to do to fix it, it's more of an update to my existing problems
another thing, the IAC is cleanable from the outside... take off the air intake tube and spray into the little hole in the bottom of the throttle body. if you see black crap floating out... you have a dirty IAC.
Removing and cleaning the TB isn't a bad idea, either.
