In a previous post I questioned removing the AIR pump from my 88 and you fine folks have convinced me it is OK. I have two wire harness' going to selenoids on the control valve on the right front of the engine. This control valve has all of the hoses running into and out of it. My question is what do I do with the wiring. Do I just cut them off and tape them up or do they need to be re-connected to something?
Thanks for the hand holding. Just seems easier to ask questions than to have to fix a problem I created.
I cut the connectors off, taped the ends and tucked them into the black plastic wire cover that I have going to the coolant and cold start sensors on the front of intake manifold.

I just removed the solenoids from the holder and tucked them behind the water pump with the wires still attached. Never had any problems this way and they did not get in the way. I was never sure if they would throw codes if I removed them completely so they sat there for ever.
