Default Which Exhuast For 1989?

What type should i get? I'm look for deep throaty rumble, but just want from the rear y pipe back. Just "clamp and hang" "type". What should i do with my Squellching Stock bose speakers? I want to keep it original, but not sure about speakers... and Seat repair kits. Need motors and Seat pumps for both sides. Would also like grey reupholstering kit... Leather... The Sport seats, what ever they are called, They have a soft cushion in the headrest, Full Power seats... One more post after this and im done. what about these type of exhausts? Click For Exhaust

Or this one? Click For Exhaust

Sorry,

Kaae

I have the LT-1 style system on my 87 and as far as a deep rumble sound, they really do not have that kind of note. They are loud under accelration but very quiet at free cruise speeds. They were a bolt in and only took a few minutes to get everything lined up and even.

But the best bet is to drop by your favorite muffler shop and have the factory mufflers removed and have some straight pipe bent and installed in their place. Get you choice of tips and you will save a bunch of money. I've herad this on a number of cars and the sound is deeper than the ones you mentioned.

The ones I got were free from a buddy but I would certainly have removed my mufflers for straight pipes. Figure on $50 to $75 to have it done depending on the shop and the tips you want.

As for the rest, what sort of noise are the speakers making?? Bose speakers have individual amps and it's common for the amps to fail. Another possibility is the amp relay which should be near the radio.

Seat leather and new foam can be pricey if you order from the accessory catalogs like Mid America or Corvette America. Figure around $1200 for new leather installed on new foam (best way to go as everything is new) and they are very easy to install on your seat frames.

If you have problems with the power seat tracks, there are no parts available to repair yourself. The catalogs have complete power seat assemblies for sale for around $200-250 with your old assembly as a core.
