The regulator was upgraded in 86(late)-96...Requires the drilling of an additional hole on the bottom of the door to install....Makes a world of a difference,you'll love it

I upgraded my drivers door (passenger was already done) and the door already had the extra hole in the bottom (86). It was really pretty straightforward. Had to swap the wires at the motor connecter so the window would go down when switch was moved to down.
