In researching the previous owners of my '92, they believe that some injector work was done, resulting in the GM Upgraded Chip (BAFL 3867) which I am told decodes to Leaded Fuel calibration.
How can I tell if the injectors are stock or not? If (and when) I get a custom chip, I'll need to know what I have with respect to injectors if I want to get it right. Thanks.
I would be surprised the injectors were actually changed... you can get a lot of fuel outta them without actually changing them. It's amazing what a computer update can do for duty cycling.

That's earmarks the dilemma, the former owner remembers a problem with the injectors, but does not know/remember if the solution was new injectors, a new chip, or both. So, I want to be able to say for sure whether I have 22# or 24# or whatever injectors.
Jimbomill: Get the numbers off the injectors and ask Rich Jensen at Cruzin Performance for advice on what to do. He can be reached at: rich@cruzinperformance.com
Rich is very honest and will give you some good advice!
Been there and done it!!!
