Default Calling All 383's

New 383 is going in on Monday just would like to know some set ups out there Hp# and 1/4 mile times

Callies forged steel stroker crank, 6" Oliver rods, SRP Pistons, Arp Studs, TPIS ZZ-409 cam, AFR/TPS alum heads,7 qt.oil pan,10.5:1 C.R., MiniramII, 58mm TB, TPIS Coated Headr, 24lb FR injectors,Stuart Hi Volwaterpump TPIS level IV prom,3.54 gears,Automatic,Flowmaster catback, Crane coil ,MSD wires Dynod at 465HP at the fly wheel
low 11 sec 1/4 mile

Previous setup was a 383. AFR 190 heads out of the box, SuperRam upper and lower intake, 58mm TB, LPE 219 cam, 10.5 CR, LPE long tubes into custom 2 1/2 Borla exhaust with crossover, centerforce DF clutch. Car ran 11.80's @ 120 on street tires(BFG 315's non drag radials) Made 365 RWHP and 410 RWTQ. Full weight very simple and drivable setup.

See sig. I would guess that I should run this new set up/ Ported SR. And AFR comp heads around 11.5-6 range in good air this spring. now that they lifted the 12 sec roll cage rule to 11.49.

I never really had good "hook" at the track with my LPE-383. It's still going strong at over 50,000 miles. It's HP we figured with the weight of the car and mph was 460 crank and prolly 490 foot pounds of torque(give or take)

If it hooks,it'll easily go a mid to low 11 on 93 octane fuel and can drive anywhere.

LT1 383 Scat forged 3.75 crank, Scat 6" H beam rods,Splayed mains .030 over block, AFR 195 heads (ported by More), Ported LT4 intake, CC 306 camshaft, Comp Pro MAg 1.6 R/R (7/16 stud guide plate and hardened push rods), FMS 36# injectors, Holley 58mm TB, and Stainless LT headers.

414.4 RWHP/412.3 RWTQ

I hope so but then again not.. The track officals would crap then take out there book to write me up again..
