Default A Little Help (Long)

So my car used to run perfect and life was good. I installed a Holley AFPR. It ran great for 4 months. Then I started to get a rich gas like smell so I checked the pressue and PS the diaphram was torn. I sent it back to Holley they fixed it. It went back on worked for a whole day and tore again. It is now on a shelf and the stock one is back in. Now my issue is the car runs rich. It makes good power, it dynoed at 269.4HP, even though the air fuel was in the 10's. But I have crappy throttle response, iffy idle, bad mileage, and a constant smell of gas. I have 41psi at the rail when I turn the key forward, I lose about 3psi every 5 minutes for the first half hour then it levels off and holds pressue. I am thinking it is an injector problem but if anyone has any ideas I am more than happy to hear them. I am going out of my mind over a long weekend thinking this to death.

Thanks to anyone who read this whole thing.

OTC and other companies make a tool called an injector drop tester. Beg or borrow this tool and perform the drop test. Will quickly and easily give you results regarding leakage. Try this first.

For some strange reason, the motor killed 2 holley FPR. Have you checked to make sure the stock one isn't crapped out aswell?

check your increase in fuel pressure when you remove your vac line to fpr. it should be around 4-5 lbs increase. Ive had that same regulator increase 10-12 lbs at wot causing the same rich condition on the dyno. replaced it and problem solved.
