Don't you have an LT1? If so, there's no point in going with an LT4 intake with LT1 heads. It don't fit.

Maybe this is a dumb question. I see many replies here that refer to DYNO #s what good is it if you make 500 RWHP, & some "OLD MAN" pulls up next to you in his STOCK LT1 and he kicks butt..

My point being if you (anyone) is looking for a faster car HP is NOT always the answer... sure HP is great for a Top Speed Race but honestly how many of you guys have raced someone at top speed?

Now if its Seat of The Pants kick **** feeling or stop light king... why not just go to 4.10 gears Drag Radial, etc.. if your Automatic like myself.. a 3000 stall converter & 3.73s will do it just fine..

I'll run ANY LT4 in a stop light race (not literally) but on the track.. I can not remember any LT4 beating me to the 330 clocks.. & I'm a STOCK Motor LT1 with only 1.6 RR & muffler eliminators.. I still have the stock exhaust manifolds & cats on my car..

And yes I agree an auto is better for drag racing, but a 6M Is more fun...

Someone correct my senile train of thought..

The LT4 intake needs to be bolted to LT4 heads. The power is not in the intake, it's in the heads. Get whatever intake matches the heads and you'll be fine.
